Thursday, 6 am class. It’s -6 degrees when I wake up for class at 5 am, brrrrr. Yeah, I thought about sleeping in but only for a minute. It’s super cold, even for here but there’s something awesome about walking into the hot room when it’s so cold out. The dichotomy of the two temperatures is amazing and sweating like you’re in the Amazon while it’s -6 outside is exhilarating, at least to me.
So I’m feeling pretty darn good on day 8, had a good nights sleep (7 hours) and that always helps. I felt strong during the floor series, like my core is getting stronger, especially going into and coming out of half tortoise.
I’m trying not to scale watch during the challenge but after 1 week I had to take a peak.. lost 2 pounds!
Call me crazy but I’m actually starting to like taking the 6 am class. it’s a great feeling to begin your day with yoga and walk out of the studio feeling energized for the rest of the day.
